About 280 miles South of Barcelona lies a tiny beach town with cafes playing the best eighties music and a lake infused with pink algae on the outskirts. The shore is solid salt crystal and I walked roughly a mile along its main stretch to take off in an area outside of Class D airspace.
Though swimming isn't allowed, and I respected that rule, I noticed several people bathing in the water on my two mile round trip by foot. I hitched a ride back to town, with some friendly Belgian tourists, to catch the bus back to Alicante airport.
This is my favorite photo of the bunch, captured with a Phantom 4 Pro. The pink hue really becomes apparent from a drone's point of view.
