My friend Eddie, who acted as my Visual Observer, because you really need one when flying in congested areas, helped me navigate flying around what has replaced the Transamerica Pyramid as the tallest building in San Francisco.
On this particular day, the head of construction and his team approached us. At first, I thought we were in trouble but he was fascinated with what we were doing and invited us to the tour the top of the building, an experience I unfortunately missed due to scheduling conflicts.
Salesforce Tower hosts thousands of employees in the 100-story-plus structure and as this photo was taken, LED installations were being placed on the top floors which, today, go beyond color to display patterns and objects.
